Warranty
Our exclusive 5-year Parts and Labor Warranty covers only the Rheem/Culligan tankless Pre-Assembly package. This warranty covers all components under normal operating conditions. The Rheem/Culligan tankless package includes the RTGH-95DVLN-3, service valves, pump, pan, piping, PVC venting connection, and valves.
Our warranty does not include components damaged by high water pressure over 75 psi, any component freezing like filter housing, pan drain, pipe freezing, power failure damage, or any customer-caused damage. Also, it does not include piping connected to the TG Pre-Assembly, existing metal roof vent leaking and sink supply lines, or existing sink valves/stops where the crossover valve is connected. Also, does not include filter cartridge replacement or flame rod service caused by dirty natural gas.
This warranty works in conjunction with Rheem's warranty.
The average service call labor cost for a non-warranty item is $225. the first hour and $195 for each additional hour.
The number of tankless units needed, in a home, is based on the number of showers you have. ie, a 3-4 shower home only requires one TGP Rheem/Culligan Pre-Assembly Tankless System
Most homes built after 2009 should have larger gas lines needed to support a tankless system. Of the last 350 units we installed, we only had to upgrade 3 gas lines.
During our Free Evaluation visit, we will determine if your home has larger gas lines.
If gas line modifications are required, we will show that cost on our final written estimate.
The main cause of Code-12
1. Dirt, which comes from the local gas supply due to all the residential and commercial construction throughout the metroplex.
2. Customer home construction project near the tankless unit. The dust from a project will be sucked up by the tankless unit's air intake.
As you can see dirt has collected on the burner area, disrupting the flow of gas and coating the flame rods.
Inside of the Rheem tankless unit is the location of the flame rods and the combustion chamber.
If you see lots of yellow and red flame in the combustion chamber while the tankless unit is running, dirt is burning.
We remove, clean, and polish each of the three flame rods.
Then, blow out the combustion chamber utilizing each flame rod location hole.
The total fee is $225.
Warranty 2 years from cleaning date.
This is a clean burning combustion chamber.
